International Conference on Emerging Issues in Humanity Studies and Social Sciences (ICE-HUMS) 2021

“Innovations for Sustainable Community Development: Research and Practices”

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES

Universitas Kristen Maranatha (Maranatha Christian University) aims to hold its first International Conference on Emerging Issues in Humanities Studies and Social Sciences (ICE-HUMS). This international conference is designed to provide a vibrant forum for academics, university professionals, students, experts and practitioners from various institutions to demonstrate their ground-breaking scientific research, activities and projects.

Innovations for Sustainable Community Development: Research and Practices is the theme of the conference. The theme was chosen as a way to gather a great number of research and initiatives that can provide effective solutions and benefits to many people in regard to United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that pragmatic and multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary approaches to research and initiatives will help us to uncover fundamental problems and address sustainable development questions related to them.

In order to build a great forum for both the participants and the presenters, the Committee invited distinguished keynote speakers who have created a large number of important research in their respective fields and in-depth work relevant to the subject of this conference, as well as former plenary speakers at a number of international seminars.

We believe that ICE-HUMS 2021 would be a fruitful academic occasion and contributes many ideas as well research initiatives in the scientific community. We are looking forward to meeting you at the conference.
